Great take away food, pricey, but lots for the money.
Welcoming and comfortable, with an excellent breakfast, in a good central location. Can be noisy if in a room on the high street side.
Lovely, luxurious rooms. The only problem is the key pad on the front door. I couldn't get in at 1am but fortunately two friendly policemen helped wrestle with the lock.
The location was good for attending an event at the nearby Racecourse. It was slightly awkward manoeuvring through the busy restaurant with luggage to check in. The room up in the eaves had alot of character but also lacked enough headroom in the main bedroom and exterior hallway. There's a real lack of parking in Newmarket as a whole so something to bear in mind when travelling to the hotel as there's no real parking options or even place to stop outside the hotel
